Sherella Cupid, Ph.D.

Dr. Sherella Cupid is an interdisciplinary researcher-practitioner, digital media artist, and educator based in the Baltimore Metropolitan area. Her research centers the experiences of Black women and girls in education, health, and media through the lens of sister circles, Black feminism, and womanism. As an artist and practitioner, she uses her (digital) sister circle, Lirae Journey, to explore and share Black women's experiences through the centralizing of love and wellness. MORE
